About the space

Clara’s cabin is a three story cabin nestled in the woods of North Chatham. The main floor boasts large timbers and wooden floors with large, open ceilings. On the main floor you’ll find a living room, dining room, kitchen, queen bedroom, and a quaint hallway bathroom where a claw foot tub welcomes guests for a time of relaxation. The main floor also leads to a screened in porch off the kitchen that invites guests to take in the beauty of the woods. The rocking chair front porch greets guests to another relaxing outdoor space.

The second floor has a loft area with a large corner desk, perfect for guests that need to work from home. A futon and large chair with ottoman also share this open space. Sheets and blankets are provided for guests that choose to utilize the futon for extra sleeping space. Move down the hall to find the large master bedroom equipped with a California king bed and a large master bathroom.

The bottom floor features an open basement. In this area guests will find the washer and dryer. This area also has another entrance that leads out to the backyard.

Guest access

Guests will have use of the entire cabin. This is not a shared space.

Other things to note

This cabin features the charm of a log cabin with the convenience of modern amenities such as high speed internet. If you’ve never lived in a log home, there are a few unique characteristics to note. The roof is metal, allowing the pitter patter of rain drops to be heard during a storm. All floors and most walls are made of wood so there will be creaking and noises in the home as guests walk around.
